After staying at Astarte for 7 perfect days, the least I can do is to share my experience. The property itself was actually better than it appeared on the website-and that actually never happens.The property is extremely clean and the traditional style provides an atmosphere like none other. What makes the breakfast so unique and amazing, is not that they serve it to your private terrace each morning, but the fantastic view. If we ever manage to return to Santorini, we will stay at Astarte, since anything else would be a huge disappointment for us.

I had the most romantic getaway with my wife at Astarte suites. The hotel had only nine suites so we felt as we were alone, while the personized service made us feel unique. The hotel is very luxury, and our suite was very cozy. We had a jacuzzi in our suite where we spent most of our time. The rest of it we were at the stunning swimming pool drinking our coctalis. We relaxed very much, and after 20 years of being together with my wife romance was on air again. Thank you for everything. Tery

Astarte suites is a very beautiful romantic hotel on the cliff of kaldera, just in front of the volcano. The senior suite was cozy and clean, while we spent a lot of out time at the jacuzzi. We spent some romantic hours also at the stunning pool. What makes Astarte suites so unique is the personal care given to the guests by the great family who runs this hotel. Thanks Tery

We stayed at Astarte suites during the Easter, and we had a perfect Honeymoon. We were picked up from the airport from the Astarte suite's driver, and at check in there was a bottle of champagne, and fresh fruits in our suite. The personel was very kind, and discreet, and the tasty breakfast was served at our private veranda every morning. The suite was clean, and the jacuzzi make us relax and enjoy the true pleasures of life . Hope to visit Astarte suites soon.

Astarte suites is perfect. I had my honeymoon last august, and I want to thank them(and especially George) for my memorable honeymoon. i stayed at the honeymoon suite with the private indoor jacuzzi, and outdoor private swimming pool. It had a private veranda, where the excellent breakfast was served. The suite was twice every day cleaned, and the staff was extremely helpful for excursion arrangements, and assistance on the island. I highly recommend it. Steve

The Astarte suites is the perfect hotel. I was one of the first customers last summer, since it opened in June 2005. It provides privacy,since there is no direct connection with other hotel in addition to the hotels in Oia and Imerovigli, where everyone can see what you are doing, yet it does not sacrifice on service or uniqueness. Right from our arrival,the service was incredible,from the front desk to poolside. Our room had a fantastic view of volcano even from inside the suite. Completely unique!The bathrooms are also very nice, cozy, and clean. However, the jacuzzi was fantastic, because it had on the roof crystals, which made me feel as I was looking the Sky. Our rooms were constantly cleaned and well-stocked by the housekeeping staff.The pool was also great. The breakfast every morning is tasteful, you don't have to wake up early because they serve it until noon either near the pool or to your room! The staff is very helpful in planning any excursions around Santorini.This hotel is so wonderful that I will go also this Summer!Trust me on this! Definitely one of the best hotels I saw and stayed in in all of the Cyclades!

We just returned from a 2 week trip to Greece with my wife. The highlight of the trip was Santorini and Astarte Suites. The Island of Santorini deserved completely separate review and I hope that within the next few weeks I will have some time to write this review on an island.

I am in my late 40's and well travelled. First about the hotel it is brand new, typical Santorini houses architecture with all modern ammenities. The location was just perfect. The key word is unique comfort and relaxation. The pool is absolutely spectacular, not big but perfect for this small establishment. We spend most of our day relaxing by the pool and observing the spectacular views of Caldera.
