We stayed with our family for three nights at Hotel thira & apartments. We were picked up at the harbour, and friendly welcomed by Antonis and his family. We stayed in a nice apartment, with view at the sea, away from crowded Thira. The pool and lounge spot above/next were allso very nice. A nice spot, friendly people for a good price

If you want to fill like in Heaven, this is the right place. You never have seen any island like this one, "amazing" is the word. But further more all the magnific lures, you can find people like all the Dakoronias, familly, specially Antonis and his wife. I have been travelling for many places, but in no one I have felt like in my own home. Thanks Antonis, thanks once again.

The hotel has about 10 rooms centered around an outdoor pool with a dolphin. Maria and her Vangelis didn't speak much English, but were always entertaining and kept the place spotless. The location is a 4-minute walk from the main square, 4 minutes from the caldera view, off in a nice residential section of Thira. The beds were a bit short (and hard). It's not fancy, but clean, easy, cheap, and very `Greek' feeling. The owners' son run the moto rental next door, and the owners' grandkids (*also* named Maria and Vangelis) often hang out there.
