We have just returned from our stay at the Tamarix Del Mar. What can I say? It was fantastic!

We stayed in a Junior Suite which was very spacious, modern and clean. It had a good size bathroom and a small kitchenette area with a mini bar (prices were similar to that of a supermarket). We had maid service twice daily with fresh towels also.

The pool area was very relaxing and quiet with ample sun loungers. The indoor area was very nice with heated pool and sauna as well as a jacuzzi.

Breakfast served bacon, eggs, breads, cerials, fruit, ham, cheese, yoghurt and much more.

The pool bar served drinks and snacks all day and was a great place to relax in the shade.

ALL of the staff were helpful, friendly and basically could not do enough for us throughout our stay. We would definatley return to this hotel as it made our wedding and honeymoon just perfect.

We have recently returned from our holiday/wedding in Santorini and stayed at these fantastic suites. The service cannot be faulted and we were delighted when we returned on our wedding night to complementary champagne and a cake in our room. On checking out we were given another gift and we arranged to leave some luggage there whilst on honeymoon. When we returned to collect it we were greeted like old friends and given complementary drinks. The rooms were well equipped and spacious and they had all the facilities you would expect from a quality hotel and more. I would high recommend staying here if you go to Santorini. Its only 10 mins from Thira by taxi or by the frequent bus service. We shall be going back to celebrate our wedding anniversaries.

This is a very nice little resort in a great town. Everything is very clean and nicely furnished. It has very friendly staff and a good breakfast. The only draw back is that it is 3 blocks from the beach - and to tell you the truth it was nice because you can escape from the crowds. This is a great place to stay while on Santorini. Rent a car and drive to Oia for the sunset and then come back for a late dinner at one of the 30 beachfront cafes and bars.
