I stayed at Manos Apartments in Firostefani for 3 nights at the begining of september 2004 and it was absolutely amazing.

First, it's a wonderful sunny and quiet place. It is more quiet than Fira and the view is spectacular. From the terrace you can see ferries and small boats like schooners sailing through the caldeira.

Each room has a roof terrace with a marble table and chairs. The room (with air conditioning) was very large, nice, comfortable and very clean. Inside, there was also a table and chairs, a sofa, armchairs and even a dressing table. It was also possible to cook (cooking area with a small fridge)or to prepare coffee and tea! You can find mini-markets in the area and a very old man sells tomatoes and fresh pistachio nuts from his garden just on the hotel's nearest place. We had breakfast served on the terrace, just when the sun was rising!

Then, the most important is that the owner gave us a very warm welcome. He was very helpful and even if he was rather busy, he spared us time to answer our countless questions about his wonderful island!!!

To reach the hotel, the best is to take a taxi from the harbour(15?).
