This hotel is amazing. The views are breathtaking, and the staff and facilities are excellent. It is so good we are returning for our holiday this year. Simply can't think of anywhere else on Earth I would sooner be.

we stayed in a honeymoon suite in june 2007 for 1 week as part of our honeymoon in greece, it was the best thing we ever did. i cant explain it was amazing, words cannot explain it. we are thinking of coming back. The atmosphere is amazing along with the breathetaking views of the volcano and the rest of santorini. We miss it so much,not a day goes by that i dont think of the fun we had.It could quite possibly be the best place on earth.

We ended up here by accident - we were booked at the Pegasus Suites, but due to overbooking problems there, we were moved to the Honeymoon Petra Villas. They were also able to offer us 2 additional rooms for others in our wedding party.

We could not have been more thrilled with the outcome of this mishap. Honeymoon Petra Villas was accomodating, professional, and friendly from the start. This resort is the one that catches your eye when scanning all of the hotels on the hill. The 14 ft infinity pool built into the rock cliff is stunning. The entire resort is very natural in it's look and design. Our room was very spaceous with a full bath tub and shower, even had a dimmer on our light switch for ambient lighting. The room also had a living area and kitchenette.

The views are stunning from the rooms, the pool, and the breafast area. Dining area has a video projector and piano. The owner/captain offers free boat trips for guests staying more than 4 days.

The staff are professional, friendly, and helpful in whatever you need. We also liked the location of the resort in Imerovigli - lots of tavernas in walking distance - easy to walk to Firastephani and even Fira.

We recommend the Honeymoon Petra Villas without hesitation. We plan to return.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Petra Villas. The hotel is really beautiful, nestled right in the rock. It is about a 5 min walk to the main road, with many stairs. You definitely get a work out while staying at this hotel! Our room was very nice, we stayed in a traditional apartment. Very large and spacious. The pool is just incredible, you cannot beat the views from the pool area. Definitely a four star hotel.

This is a lovely hotel. But the traditional studio rooms are tiny and not worth the money. The swimming pool is fanastic and you can look over the edge into the volcano. The owner is quite a character - Greek sailing coach - and organises chartered sailing trips around the island.

This hotel is in quiet Imerovigli, an easy 1/2 hour walk from the cable car in Fira. It comes complete with the undescribably stunning view from every room of the caldera. The pool is one of the best on the island and the poolbar has excellent staff and service, adding to the compulsion to stay on the terrace all day. Rooms are spacious and newly renovated, with luxurious furnishings and bathrooms. Very private yet still accessible. There is no restaurant on site, if this is an issue for you, however there are fine places to eat in Imerovigli and around the island. There was also minimal hotel information in our room - but when we called reception they were fabulous, quickly making dinner reservations in town or contacting friends in another hotel.
