Enigma Apartments are located in the heart of Fira City, on the face of its cliffs, thus offering a magnificent panoramic view of the Santorini volcano, the old picturesque port and its fortress. It a short walk from the nearest drop off point on the main road and quite a few steps down the side of the cliffs (assistance with luggage is provided, if the hotel is informed of your time of arrival).
This luxury A-Category hotel consists of 8 individual, very tastefully furnished and traditionally styled apartments, which can accommodate 2 to 5 persons. Built in 1994 in keeping with the traditional architecture, while at the same time meeting all modern requirements in construction.
There are 2 open-plan studios (up to 2 people), 2 standard apartments with one bedroom on a loft and the extra sofa bed on the ground floor (up to 3 people) and 4 superior 2-bedroom apartments that can sleep a fifth person in a sofa bed in the living room. Most rooms have double beds (regular size). All of them have private shower/W.C with hairdryer, A/C (warm/cold), basic cooking facilities (electric rings, utensils, refrigerator), direct dial phone, safe box, TV set.
The rooms have each a balcony or a terrace with view to the sea and the furnishing is one of the best on the island, with antique furniture, artefacts, hand-made curtains, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. Cleaning is daily and the change of sheets and towels every second day.
Breakfast is rich continental, served either at the bar just over the rooms or in the room. The reception is very friendly and multilingual.
